To me, this moment is Danse Macabre incarnate. The film's score may have played, but I heard Saint-Saëns, bones rising, demons waltzing, a soul mid-transformation in a bathroom lit like a purgatory.

I painted this with reverence, with adrenaline in my blood, and a fire in my chest.
Because what the character did here wasn’t just dance. It was a pact, with the abyss, the mask, the pain.
